Janie Lou Slaughter Williams

Mrs. Janie Lou Slaughter Williams, known as “Sister” to her family, 89, passed away peacefully on April 1, 2017 at home in Perry, FL. Janie was born December 7, 1927 in Lake Bird, Florida to John Owen Slaughter and Mary Eather Mathis Slaughter.

Funeral Services were held Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at 2 p.m. at First United Methodist Church of Perry with Bro. James Taylor and Chaplain Andy Creel officiating.

Interment services will follow immediately afterwards in Pineview Memorial Cemetery.

The family received friends from 6-8 p.m. on Monday, April 3, 2017 at First United Methodist Church of Perry.

All arrangements are under the direction of Burns Funeral Home of Perry.
