The Taylor County Commission has reached a $250,000 settlement agreement with its soon-to-be former human resources director, who alleged the county discriminated against her because of her gender and age.
In the suit filed in May 2016, Marcella Bridier, who had worked for the county since January 2013, claimed that “younger, less educated, less experienced male directors were provided greater benefits and salaries while [she] was not earning the minimum salary for her position.”
