Going to Hickory Mound? Bring a bike

It’s been more than six months since Hurricane Hermine and the Hickory Mound Impoundment remains closed to vehicle traffic due to damage from the storm.

With the Taylor County Commission continuing to receive complaints over the slow progress of repairs, the board appears ready to consider a resolution asking for assistance from the county’s legislative and congressional delegations as well as the governor.
