Deadline for short story contest is April 29

The deadline to enter the Friends of the Taylor County Public Library’s 11th annual Short Story Contest is Friday, April 28.

The contest includes three age categories: youth (grades 5 and below), student (grades 6-12) and adult.

The first place story in each category will win $100 and second place will receive $50. Honorable mentions will receive $10.

The contest is open to all Taylor County Public Library cardholders. A complete list of rules is available at the library which is located on North Washington Street.
