450-acre fire sixty percent contained

Florida Forest Service (FFS) firefighters are battling a 450-acre blaze near Dallus Creek on the Taylor County coast.

According to Jack Smith with FFS, the fire is located on the east side of Beach Road near the Dallus Creek check station.
