County to FWC: When will Hickory Mound re-open?

With Hickory Mound still closed to vehicle traffic after suffering damage from Hurricane Hermine, the Taylor County Commission has sent a letter to the executive director of the

Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) asking for more information on the agency’s efforts to re-open the impoundment.
The board has been receiving complaints from local residents about the slow pace of repairs, prompting the letter to Executive Director Nick Wiley.
