The deadline to apply for a $1,000 scholarship to be awarded by the Taylor County Master Gardeners is Friday, May 26. The group will award the scholarship to a 2017 high school or GED graduate. (Homeschooler graduates are included). Applicants must be planning to major in the one of the following areas: agriculture, environmental education, horticulture, natural resources, landscape design, forestry, animal sciences, marine science, or a related field.
