Planning for New Year’s Eve begins May 23

The first planning meeting for the Taylor County Historical Society’s Rocking New Year’s Eve celebration will be held Tuesday, May 23, starting at 6 p.m.

“Anyone who is interested in helping plan the event, who would like to be a vendor or sponsor is encouraged to attend,” President J.T. Davis said.

The meeting will be held at the historical society’s museum located in downtown Perry
