Father not charged after shooting son

A Perry man walked home from Tallahassee after being airlifted there Thursday night, June 15, with a single gunshot wound to his abdomen.

“It was a through-and-through shot and did not hit anything vital,” Perry Police Department (PPD) Capt. Gene Franklin said, describing the injuries sustained by James Sadler, 31.
