Betty Jean Murray

Ms. Betty Jean Murray, better known as “Nanny”, 83, passed away late Tuesday evening on July 11, 2017 at the UF Health Shands Hospital in Gainesville, FL following an illness.

She was the daughter of the late Groover and Sallie Peterson Morgan and the widow of Mr. Franklin Noel.

Funeral services for Ms. Betty Jean Murray will be conducted Saturday, July 15, 2017 at 4:00 P.M. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints located at 1293 Southwest Bascom Norris Drive, Lake City, FL with President Wayne Law officiating.

Interment will follow in Green Cemetery located at 416 NE Evanston Ln, Lake City, FL.

Visitation with the family will be held on Friday evening at the church from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Dees-Parrish Family Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements. 458 South Marion Avenue Lake City, FL 32025.
