Burglars target coastal homes

A vehicle stolen during a rash of burglaries that hit Taylor County’s coastal communities Tuesday night was found abandoned in Dixie County Thursday.

The grey 2015 Chrysler 200 was not locked at the time it was stolen, Taylor County Sheriff’s Office (TCSO) Chief Chuck Mincy said.
