County seeks funds to replace docks

At the county’s previous (Sept. 19) meeting, the board voted 5-0 in favor of submitting a $30,000 “Coastal Partnership Initiative” (CPI) grant application to help pay for dock rehabilitation at the Steinhatchee Boat Ramp.

According to County Grants Director Melody Cox, the county has already received $216,240 in funding from the Florida Boating Improvement Program (FBIP) for the Steinhatchee Pubic Boat Ramp dock rehabilitation project.
