State delegates hear passionate pleas for funds

After hearing plenty of praise and a number of specific requests from local citizens and elected officials, State Senator Bill Montford and State Representative Halsey Beshears vowed to continue to fight for small rural counties when the 2018 Florida Legislative Session begins on Jan. 9.

“A lot of good information comes out of these public hearings, and we take it very seriously,” said Beshears during opening remarks.
