County will spend $307,000 for Shady Grove community center

Despite having to dip into cash reserves for more than one-third of the total $307,200 cost, the county commission is moving ahead with construction of a community center at Shady Grove Park.

The county’s request for bid proposals (RFP) to construct a community center at the Shady Grove Park received just one response at a bid opening held during the county’s Oct. 2 meeting.
