Lakey under fire

County Administrator Ted Lakey defended himself against accusations from Commissioner Frank Russell that he improperly received county funds at the board’s Oct. 17 meeting.

Near the end of the county’s meeting, when each commissioner is given the opportunity to bring up items for discussion, Russell stated that he noticed Lakey had taken a “relocation expense” allowed for in his employment contract.
