Hickory Mound repairs to begin

In response to a growing number of complaints from disgruntled local residents, Taylor County officials have received word that the Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) is finally moving ahead with repairs to Hickory Mound Impoundment.

The most recent information delivered to the county indicates repairs will begin in mid-November and should take two to three months to complete.
