With school districts around the state having difficulty securing teachers to fill their ranks, the Taylor County School District is attempting to be more proactive in its recruiting efforts.
“Right now, I wouldn’t say the district has a teacher shortage,” Superintendent of Schools Danny Glover said. “We’re trying to be proactive rather than reactive.”
