Army of volunteers, officers enlisted in search for Butler

Searchers looking for Patsy Ann Butler, the 70-year-old Taylor County woman who has been missing since Monday afternoon, are concentrating their efforts along the marsh line of Yates Creek and the surrounding woods.

“One K-9 track led teams to the boat ramp at Yates Creek. Also, two county road employees said they saw Mrs. Butler in that area Monday afternoon. They said she was walking down the road. We have concentrated our efforts there and continue to expand the search grid,” Taylor County Sheriff’s Office (TCSO) Chief Chuck Mincy said Thursday afternoon.
