Prep work begins for high-end apartments

    Posted on November 8, 2017

Although work is not expected to begin until later this year or in early 2018, the first shipment of materials for the proposed $21 million high-end apartment complex to be located on U.S. Highway 19 (behind Holiday Inn) in Perry has already arrived in Taylor County.

According to Perry City Manager Bob Brown, a shipment of lumber arrived here last week, and a truckload of appliances is expected later this week. Additional shipments will continue to arrive, and the materials will be stored at a secure site in the county.
