    Lashhorn accepts a plea deal, sentenced to 30 years in prison

    A two-year-old murder case came to an end in less than 30 minutes Monday, with suspect Mark Ellsworth Lashhorn III, 30, admitting his guilt and accepting a plea deal that sends him to prison for the next three decades.

    Lashhorn was adjudicated guilty for the November 2015 murder of Perry resident Nahor Theophilus Church Jr., 56, whose body was found at his home on T.A. Miller Road Nov. 19.
