After pummeling long-time rival Suwannee, 52-14 in a one-sided dog fight Friday night at Perry’s Dorsett Stadium, the Taylor County High School football team will host Newberry in the first round of the Class 3A state playoffs this Friday night.

Taylor (7-3) allowed 14 points in the first half, but held Live Oak (4-6) scoreless in the second half while continuing to light up the scoreboard.
