Free tuition offered for diesel program

The new diesel technician program at Big Bend Technical College (BBTC) comes with quite a surprise for a few lucky students — free tuition.

At the Nov. 14 school board meeting, BBTC Director Jodi Tillman announced that the first 15 students to enroll in the 1,050-hour Diesel Systems Technician I track will receive free tuition. The first five students to enroll in the 600-hour Diesel Maintenance Technician track will also receive free tuition.
