The days of dumping in city right-of-ways are over.
That was the message the Perry City Council sent with a 3-1 vote last week by adopting a revised trash ordinance that halts the city’s practice of collecting discarded “white goods” (i.e. appliances, mattresses, furniture). The new law will go into effect in 90 days.
