The continued investigation into a methamphetamine operation in Steinhatchee has led to additional charges for one individual and new charges on two other suspects.
Michael “Mike the Welder” Carroll, 63, was charged on Nov. 8 with manufacturing methamphetamine, possession of a drug dwelling and possession of drug paraphernalia after a “one pot” methamphetamine “cook” was discovered at his residence. Additional information obtained by investigators led to a new charge of unlawful possession of listed chemicals being filed against him just over a week later, on Friday, Nov. 17.
