Major paving projects on the horizon for city

The coming year will bring two large paving and resurfacing projects inside the city limits, giving two major thoroughfares complete facelifts.

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is preparing to start resurfacing Jefferson Street in December, while at the same time bid packets are being prepared for a second project that will focus on Center Street (from Ash Street) and Church Street (to Highway 19).
