Teen lies to trooper, catches charges

A Newberry teen talked herself into charges Tuesday night by giving law enforcement officers a false name because she (mistakenly) believed she had an active arrest warrant under her real name.

Goldie Alexandra Edwards, 18, was a passenger in a vehicle driven by Summer Cheri Addison, 25, stopped by Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) Trooper Joseph Clement on South Byron Butler Parkway around 6:17 p.m.
