‘Party like a Pirate’ at 2017 poker run this Saturday

Parrotheads in Perry-dise invites riders to “work like a captain, party like a pirate” at the 2017 Christmas Poker Run benefitting Guardian ad Litem this Saturday, Dec. 2.

Registration will be held from 8:30-9:30 a.m. at Burger King.

The ride will begin at 9:30 a.m. with three additional stops on the route: Sunoco convenience store in Tennille; Charlie’s in Old Town; and Carters Crossroads Country Store in Chiefland.

The ride will end at Big Deck Raw Bar in Cedar Key.

Each rider will receive a $5 Burger King gift card at registration.

Cash prizes will be awarded for best hand ($150) and worst hand ($150).

Registration is $20 per rider and $10 per additional hand/rider.

All proceeds benefit Taylor County’s Guardian ad Litem program.
