    Jimmie Edwin Sullivan

    Jimmie Edwin Sullivan, 79, of Perry, died surrounded by his family July 31, 2017. He was born in 1937 in Mayo to the late Marvin and Annie Sullivan.
    Jimmie is survived by: his wife of 55 years, Marion; son, Jim (Suzanne) Sullivan; daughters, Kandi Sullivan and Valerie (Billy) Murphy; grandchildren, Miranda and Shane Sullivan, and Megan, Grace and Caroline Murphy; brothers, Marvin Dean (Kathryn) Sullivan and Kenneth (Yvonne) Sullivan; and sisters, Avice (Gene) Jackson, Virginia Glass and Jackie (Dalton) Whigham; as well as many
    living nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
    Jimmie served in the United States Army and retired from Buckeye after working 30-plus years as an electrician. He was also a member and deacon at Lakeside Baptist Church. He was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend to all. Jimmy was an avid gardener and loved nothing more than spending time with this family. Funeral services will be held today (Wednesday) at Lakeside Baptist Church at 2 p.m. with Pastor Kenneth Sullivan officiating. Interment will follow at Midway Baptist Church in Mayo.
    In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare Foundation.
    All arrangements are under the direction of Burns Funeral Home of Perry.
