    Josephine Mincy Hudgens

    Josephine Mincy Hudgens, 75, passed away Aug. 23, 2017, in Perry. Josephine was born Sept. 6, 1941, in Perry to Jim Frank Mincy and Juanita Duncan Mincy.
    Mrs. Hudgens was a Christian of the Baptist faith. She was the owner/ operator of the Greyhound bus station for several years here in Perry. She loved her grandchildren. Josephine was preceded in death by her husband, Ronnie Hudgens; her parents, Jim Frank Mincy and Juanita Duncan Mincy; her brother, Jimmy Mincy; sister, Bea Samorisky; brother-in-law, Al Samorisky; and niece, Pat Anders.
    Mrs. Hudgens is survived by: her children, Ronnie D. Hudgens, Greg Hudgens, Angela Dillon and Donna Johns; her brother, Charles Mincy; sister, Teresa Jeffrey; seven grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
    Funeral services will be held today (Friday) at 11 a.m. at Carlton Cemetery with Chaplain Andy Creel officiating. All arrangements are under the direction of Burns Funeral Home of Perry. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Big Bend Hospice of Perry.
