Lloyd Paul “Bobo” Blue Jr., 54, died Saturday, Sept. 9, 2017, at his residence in Perry.
Lloyd was born Dec. 5, 1962, in Madison, to Lloyd Paul Blue Sr. and Evelyn Blanton Blue.
He worked in the construction industry as a pipefitter for more than 35 years with the local Union #592 out of Tallahassee.
Bobo was of the Baptist faith and attended Shady Grove Primitive Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his father, Lloyd Paul Blue Sr.
Mr. Blue is survived by: his mother, Evelyn Blanton Stephens of Perry; a daughter, Karie Beth Blue of Connersville, Ind.; a brother, Julian Blue of Munson; and two sisters, Pauline Shiver of Eridu and Judy Roca of Perry; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at Shady Grove Primitive Baptist Church Saturday, Sept. 23 at 1 p.m. with Elder Gary Blanton officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Shady Grove Primitive Baptist Church.
