    Harford Brandon Harrod

    Harford Brandon “Dink” Harrod, 32, died Oct. 6, 2017 in Steinhatchee. Dink was born Dec. 28, 1984, in Cordele, Ga., to Alec Harrod and Marlene Turner Harrod.
    Dink loved spending time with his daughter, Kacey, hunting and fishing. He was considered a joker and wasalwayslaughing.There was never a dull moment with him around. Dink was a free-spirited person who always had something to say. He was a daddy, son, brother, uncle and friend to all who knew and loved him.
    Dink was preceded in death by: his grandparents, Harford and Alma Harrod of Omega, Ga., Maxine Valentine, and Alton Turner of Jena.
    Dink is survived by: his daughter, Kacey Leighann Harrod; parents, Alec and Marlene Harrod; brother, Frankie Harrod; and sister, Becky Wilkerson; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
    Funeral services will be held today (Wednesday), Oct. 11, at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Jena with Brother Dudley Cook and Brother Cecil Hysmith officiating. Interment services will follow immediately afterward in Mt. Olive Cemetery in Jena. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, 10-11 a.m., at First Baptist Church of Jena.
