Hugh Inman Lilliott, 70, died Sunday, Oct. 8, 2017, in Tallahassee.
Hugh was born March 2, 1947, in Perry to Inman Ray Lilliott and Rachael Wilder Lilliott. Hugh honorably served our country in the United States Army. He was an outdoor enthusiast, whose passion was hunting for artifacts, fishing and hunting. He loved his family and residing on the Aucilla River, or “God’s country,” as Hugh would put it.
Hugh was preceded in death by: his parents, Inman Ray Lilliott and Rachael Wilder; and his brother-in- law, Steve Langston.
He is survived by: his wife of 50 years, Debbie Lilliott; son, Hud (Laurie) Lilliott and daughter Jennifer (Charlie) Ward; seven grandchildren, Taylor, Hayden and Clara Lilliott, and JT, Daniel, Isabella and Charles Ward; and one sister, Ann Lilliott Langston; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held Tuesday, Oct. 10, at 11 a.m. at Burns Funeral Home of Perry with Brother Gary Brett and Rachael Long officiating. The family received friends one hour prior to the service.
