    Jacqueline Elease Tuten

    Ms. Jacqueline “Jackie” Elease Tuten, 55, died Oct. 11, 2017, at Hospice House in Tallahassee following a brief illness.
    She was born Sept. 8, 1962, in Perry and was a homemaker to her family.
    Jackie was of the Baptist faith and a member of New Home Baptist Church in Perry. She was a loving and devoted wife, companion and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, cooking for family and friends, and sitting by the fire.
    Jackie was preceded in death by: her parents, Richalene Roper Wilkins and Jimmy Ray Wilkins; and brother, Gene Lloyd Matthews.
    She is survived by: her son, Ronnie Tuten Jr., and companion, Chiara Caputo; daughters, Lisa Tuten, and husband Cody Bowden, and Stephanie Tuten, and husband Walter Shiver, all of Perry; her longtime companion, Ralph Shiver of Perry; sister, Marion Khuen of Perry; and five grandchildren; as well as numerous other relatives and friends.
    Graveside funeral services will be held Saturday, Oct. 14, at 10 a.m. at Pisgah Cemetery with Brother Billy Gipson officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. today (Friday) at Burns Funeral Home of Perry.
    All arrangements are under the care of Burns Funeral Home of Perry.
