Jack Eugene Forney

Jack Eugene Forney, 86, died Sunday, Oct. 15, 2017, at Magnolia House in Quincy.
He was born May 27, 1931, in Kirkville, Iowa.
Jack lived in Homestead before moving to Melbourne in 1978.
He retired from the United States Air Force (USAF) and Dictaphone Company as a senior electronics technician.
He was predeceased by: his son, Michael Forney; brother, Richard Forney; and sisters, Margaret Gillen and Roberta Taylor.
He is survived by: his wife, Helen Barfield Forney of Quincy; sons, Russ Forney (Cinderella) of South Dakota and Paul A. Forney (Emine) of Sebring; seven grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Thursday, Oct. 19, at 11 a.m. at Beggs Funeral Home Madison Chapel in Madison. Visitation was held one hour prior to the service
Beggs Funeral Home was in charge of all arrangements.
