Amber Brooke Jeffrey Hoover

Amber Brooke Jeffrey Hoover, 32, passed away Oct. 12, 2017, at North Florida Regional Hospital in Gainesville after a brief illness.
She was born Sep. 18, 1985, and raised in Taylor County. She graduated from Taylor County High School in 2004. She lived with her loving husband in Deltona and had recently moved to Tallahassee to be closer to family. She was employed with State Farm Insurance in Tallahassee
Amber was preceded in death by: her mother, Faye Padgett; grandmother, Betty Jeffrey; and aunt, Angie Torres.
She is survived by: her husband, Sam Hoover; her parents, Carl and Teresa Jeffrey; grandfather, Bo Jeffrey; father-and-mother- in-law, Ralph and Donna Hoover; brother-in-law, Tim Hoover; sister, Courtney French; nephew, Brayden French; niece, Alyssah Tyler; sister, Juanita Prissy Gipson-Sullivan (Joe); and nieces, Joanna Gregory (Donal), Tasha Gipson, Amanda Whitt (Patrick); as well as a host of other family and friends, including great nephews and nieces.
She was the hero to so many by being an organ donor, giving all she had and could. She saved and eased the suffering of many lives by her gracious gift.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital in Amber’s honor by visiting their website.
A celebration of life with family and friends will be announced at a later date.
