    Mary Jane Wilson

    Mary Jane Wilson, 82, died Sunday, Nov. 12, 2017, in Perry. Mary was born Aug. 18, 1935, in Live Oak to David Wiley Henry Jr. and Bess Scharick Langford.
    Mary Jane was a member of First Baptist Church of Perry, and retired as a teacher and librarian from Gladys Morse Elementary. She was a longtime choir member and volunteer at First Baptist Church of Perry. She loved her family, grandchildren, lunch dates with her high school friends, bird watching, books and reading to children.
    Mary Jane was preceded in death by: her husband, W.D. Wilson Jr.; parents, David Wiley Henry Jr. and Bess Langford; stepfather, C.A. Langford Jr.; and sister, Patsy Henry Mercer.
    Mary Jane is survived by: her daughter, Lisa Wilson Brock (Bill); her son, Paul Wilson (Angie); three grandchildren, Kathryn Brock Putney (Bob), William Charles Brock and Alyssa Rhiannon Wilson; and two sisters, June Evans and Charlotte Collins (George); as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
    Funeral services will be held today (Wednesday) at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Perry with Pastor Steven Ruff officiating. Interment services will follow immediately afterward in Pineview Memorial Cemetery. The family received friends from 5-7 p.m. on Tuesday at Burns Funeral Home of Perry.
    In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to First Baptist Church Music Ministry or Father’s Store House.
