Bethalinn Mae Stilwell

Bethalinn “Becky” Mae Stilwell, 90, died Nov. 27, 2017, at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital. Becky was born July 23, 1927, in Waukegan, Ill. and was the only child of Mr. Heman Heaton and Iris Heaton Allen.
Becky moved from Winthrop Harbor, Ill., to Perry in 1958 with her husband, Ray Garrett, and their five children. She was a devoted mother and grandmother. As a dog lover, the family dog was always a member of the family, never just a pet. She was an avid gardener with a green thumb to be envied.
Becky was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband, Ray Garrett; her second husband, Richard Stilwell; her son, Richard Garrett; her granddaughter, Audrey Knight; and step- grandson, Michael Gressel.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Gressel (Ron), Sandra Knight, Cindy Irvin (Jim), and son, Steven Garrett (Teresa); as well as a plethora of grand, great grand and great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Dec. 2, at 11 a.m. at Burns Funeral Home of Perry. Interment will follow immediately afterward in Pisgah Cemetery.
