FDOT’s Barney Bennette appeared at the board’s Nov. 20 meeting to discuss local projects on the FDOT Five-Year County Work Program, mentioning six bridge replacement projects, two sidewalk projects and several additional roads that will be resurfaced under SCOP and SCRAP in future fiscal years.
“I read with great curiosity the change to the status of Slaughter Road,” Commissioner Malcom Page stated when it came time for board members to address the FDOT representative.
