David Ray Palmer Jr.

David Ray Palmer Jr., 38, of Perry, died Friday, Dec. 1, 2017 in Perry. David was born on Jan. 19, 1979 in Lakeland, Ga. He was the son of the late Sharon Ann Floyd of Perry.

He was affectionately known as “BOBO” to his family and friends. David had been employed locally by Robert R. Swain for the past four years and was a certified auto mechanic. David loved hunting, fishing and swimming and was a talented tattoo artist. He was loved by all who knew him.

David is survived by: his partner of seven years, Jacqualene “Jackie” Palmer; son, Elijah “Eli” Palmer; brothers, Wallace, Kevin, Jay and Chad Floyd; sister, Bridgette Floyd; grandmother, Betty Owens; aunts, Doris Blevins, Carla Floyd, Lillie Johnson, and Leonia Owens; uncle, Carl Owens; and a host of nephews, nieces and cousins.

His memorial service was held Thursday, Dec. 7 at 2 p.m. at Burns Funeral Home of Perry.
