Ground-breaking ceremonies were held Thursday morning, Dec. 14, for a new community center in Shady Grove.

PHOTO: (L to r) Florrie Burroughs with the Shady Grove Community Council, County Administrator Ted Lakey, County Commission Chair Pam Feagle, Commissioner Thomas Demps and contractor Michael Lynn were given the honor of turning the first shovel of dirt at the site.
