Woman killed in crash

Emergency responders faced a snarl of bent metal and had to deploy the “Jaws of Life” Thursday morning to extricate a 17-year-old Taylor County High School student pinned inside his truck in a two-vehicle crash that also claimed the life of a 48-year-old Perry woman.

Tyler Coker was airlifted to Shands Hospital in Gainesville where he remains listed in serious condition.

Donna Kay White was pronounced dead at the scene.
