Norman Levy Whiddon

Norman L. Whiddon, 66, died Dec. 12, 2017 at Doctor’s Memorial Hospital in Perry. Norman was born Aug. 25, 1951 in Perry to Norman Whiddon and Eva Mae Goff Whiddon. He worked as truck driver and enjoyed fishing, hunting, and watching wrestling.

Norman was preceded in death by: his parents; and a brother, Richard “Slick” Whiddon.

He is survived by; four brothers, John R. Whiddon of Perry, James Whiddon of Perry, Ben Whiddon of Cross City, and Jessie Whiddon of Perry; three sisters, Carrie Akins of Perry, Rosie “Lizzie” Little of Fountain, and Eva Akins of Perry; his former wife and companion, Ellen Mims, of Mayo; as well as numerous other family members and friends.

Memorial services will be held at a later date. All arrangements are under the direction of Burns Funeral Home of Perry.
