Ready to make a splash

A number of stakeholders in the new Rosehead Park gathered at the nearly completed splash pad Friday, April 31, to review its progress.

Shown left to right are: Mark Viola, Rotary Club president; Cheryl Moore and Martine Young, Florida Department of Health in Taylor County; City Manager Bob Brown; and Ray Curtis, Suwannee River Water Management District (SRWMD) representative.

The City of Perry is spearheading the project and has received grants from SRWMD; Rotary donated funds toward the splash pad construction; and the health department is contributing benches. Additional stakeholders will be spotlighted in coming weeks.
