The Perry City Council has agreed to purchase two parcels of property adjacent to Rosehead Park for $35,000, stating the land could potentially be used for a future city water plant or to expand the downtown park.
City Manager Bob Brown brought the property to the council’s attention during its meeting last week.
PHOTO: The Buckhalter property immediately adjoins Rosehead Park. The current owners said they intend to dispose of the buildings and structures on the site themselves.
