City announces holiday schedule

The City of Perry has announced its garbage collection schedule for the Christmas and New Year’s holidays:

• Christmas Schedule: Thursday customers will receive service today (Wednesday); Friday customers on Thursday, Dec. 21; and city offices will be closed Friday, Dec. 22, and Monday, Dec. 25. Monday customers will receive service Tuesday, Dec. 26; Tuesday customers on Wednesday, Dec. 27; and regularly scheduled service for Thursday, Dec. 28, and Friday, Dec. 29.

• New Year’s Schedule: The City of Perry will be closed Monday, Jan. 1, the New Year’s holiday. Monday customers will receive service Tuesday, Jan. 2; Tuesday customers, Wednesday, Jan. 3; and regularly scheduled service for the remainder of the week.

Regular work hours and normal service will return Monday, Jan. 8.
