Waiver for beer tent approved

Since the Perry City Council began allowing non-profit groups the opportunity to apply for permits to hold beer gardens at Rosehead and Loughridge parks in 2015, only two such permits have been applied for and approved.

The Perry Rotary Club hosted the first beer garden at last year’s New Year’s Eve Party (sponsored by the Taylor Historical Society), followed by a second one at the city’s Fourth of July event–both held at Rosehead Park.
