Celebrating June as African-American Music Appreciation Month, Wester Joseph’s Stereo Vudu will play a “Free Fridays” concert at Bo Diddley Community Plaza in Gainesville Friday, June 14.
Joseph was born in Miami, to Haitian immigrants. Being raised in such a culturally rich atmosphere became a pivotal key in the variety of sounds in his music. He was given his first guitar at the age of 15 and has had a love affair for playing ever since.
