County takes on RVs along coast, opening a ‘can of worms’

County Commissioners admit they may be “opening up a can of worms” as they move to look into potential violations of county ordinances regulating how many recreational vehicles (RV) are allowed on coastal lots in the beaches and Steinhatchee.

Toward the conclusion of the county’s Jan. 16 meeting, under “Members of the Board’s Requests,” Commissioner Malcolm Page brought up the subject, stating, “I have been doing a lot of thinking about the RV ordinance at the beaches and had some people talk to me about it.”
