Next Gen-911 coming to Taylor County

Local residents will soon have access to a new generation E-911 communication system after county commissioners awarded a $135,606 bid to AK Associates – a family-owned telecommunications service provider based out of St. Augustine.

At their Jan. 16 meeting, commissioners learned the county received just one bid for a new E-911 system.
