Ronald Elverton Gunter

Ronald Elverton Gunter, 68, died Feb. 19, 2018. Ronald was born in Madison County on May 3, 1949.

He graduated from Taylor County High School in 1967. He attended the University of Florida from 1967-1976 and received a Master’s degree in English. He was a master electrician in Taylor County until 1999.

Ronald is survived by: his former wife, Shirley Blue; daughters, Lynn Harper of Perry, Jessie (Jeanne) Gunter of Deland and Venus (Jay) Forand of Cape Coral; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two sisters, Pat (Tommy) Cook of Perry and Cheryle (Harry) Daub of Navarre; and two brothers, Luther (Diane) Gunter Jr. of Perry and Charles (Bobbie) Gunter of Crawfordville.

He was preceded in death by: his parents, Luther Gunter Sr. and Elizabeth Gunter.

There will be no services per his request. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Blind Services of Florida.
